The Brunch

The next day I went to the land, five rows had been added over the arch. Overnight they pondered taking down some of the logs to gain the four inches, two on each side, and decided on an alternative plan.

The boys moving dirt on an overcast and chilly day. I think the temperature hovered around 36°, maybe 38°.

The High School Student of the Month, Abby, showed up with Jersey.

Mae shooting at the target.

Today I decided to go with a brunch. Pancakes, sausages and red, white and blueberry muffins.

They’ve gone as far as they can go with this staging.

Abby and Jersey in her room.

Last seven rows of the gable laid out.

Bringing in the big guns.

Putting the bigger staging together.

Pae building the staging. All of the young kids stayed on the floor or took a few hundred pictures!

Still building and adding a trapdoor.

Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.

Adding bracing.

Back to adding rows.

The boys making a trail.

R & M placing the last log on the front gable.

Coming down the staging through the trapdoor.

Visitors.

Measurements to find the center of the back wall. This was another glitch in the plans that wasn’t identified. They had to do some “go-zin-ta’s,” to confirm the center.

Getting around.

A new target system Ash found at Walmart; a goat, a turkey, a pig and a chicken; and a real apple.

The last bundle of logs for the back gable. At first they were going to place a couple logs, but some were wet so they decided to let them dry overnight.

Last log on the pallet.

The neighbors.

Front gable.

COVID-19 stats.
