Thankful

Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

The first Thanksgiving in 1621 was outside at Plymouth Plantation and the ten-hundredth billionth and twenty-fourth Thanksgiving was too. This year, 2020, and the country has been in the middle of a global man-made pandemic for eight months or more.

The next time I went over to the house again, it was Thanksgiving. I had been invited to two Thanksgiving dinners so I made rolls to drop off with the kids for their Thanksgiving meal later. Or for appetizers now?!!

As it turned out, the windows had arrived and the weather was cooperating. It snowed a couple inches overnight and the forecast was for about 50% rain. Thankfully the rain held off all morning and the kids got six windows in by noon.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Lord, we thank you for all the many blessings you’ve given to us. Thank you for providing us with skills and patience while building this house; for keeping us safe from injuries, for friends and family and our Thanksgiving dinner.
